CREATIVES: God's call for Identity

Prophetic Vision:

Long white scarf/tag/ribbon/fortune-cookie-paper around each person's neck. It seemed to grow as we worshiped, and kept getting longer and longer. Growth occurred straight out from the person, almost to defy gravity.




  • White // purity.
  • Ownership // the Father placed his seal, signature, ribbon, purchased price.
  • Fortune-cookie- paper // God is continuing to write our story, give us our purpose, reveal our destiny, lead us beside still waters, open our minds to what He has in store. The fortune can only be read when you crack the cookie open and break the hard exterior in half. As we worship Jesus and draw closer to Him and truly seek out His presence in our lives, our hearts are being transformed, and as our hearts break in front of Him, our true purpose calling and destiny are then revealed. If we remain in that place of hardheartedness, our purpose will be locked up inside. If we allow the Lord to break our hearts open (vulnerability) then our call will have the chance to not only break free out into the open, but grow into something that the Lord desires.  

BIBLE STUDY 1 John 2:7-11

(VERSE 7) Dear Friends I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard.

  • What is the old command? (hint verse 5 of chapter 1)


(VERSE 8) Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.

  • What does it mean when it says "the true light is already shining?"


(VERSE 9) Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness.

  • What does "in the light" refer to?


(VERSE 10) Whoever loves his brother lives in the light and there is nothing in him to make him stumble.

  • According to this verse how can we "live in the light?" What do we need to do?
  • If we love our brother, will we stumble?
  • Who is our "brother?"


(VERSE 11) But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded him.

  • What causes someone to live in darkness?

 Testimony. Usually when I hear this word I think of a court room. I picture the person accused of some crime, and then I see the witness stand right next to the judge and I see the lawyer asking this witness questions and the answers this person gives is called their testimony. The testimony of the witness of a particular event can make or break this person on trial. The testimony of the witness gives proof or non proof of the events that happened. If this person on the stand gives testimony that is contrary to the claims of the person on trial, the person on trial can be sentenced to jail! The power of testimony is not something to dismiss. Hee-Haw

 Hee-Haw Jesus rode into town on a donkey, the week before he was to be crucified and set all of humanity free from death and destruction and the grave. He rode in a donkey. We have heard this story one million times, but this time reading it through hit me differently. Jesus was perfect. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for our sin because he had no sin. He carried perfection, holiness and purity in every step. His heart was never polluted with any hateful thought or bitter feeling or jealous strain. His mind never thought one sinful thought. His mouth said nothing unholy. I am in awe of this fact. I am overwhelmed in thinking that Jesus walked this earth for me, so that I could have eternity with Him. Everything Jesus did here on earth points to God and has fulfilled some epic prophecy. Jesus was mentioned and foretold to be born in Bethlehem.
